Neighborhood Guide: Brentwood

a market in Brentwood, Los Angeles

Neighborhood guide for Brentwood, Los Angeles

The neighborhood of Brentwood offers access to big city life with a more small town feel. This Westside community is made up of wealthy urban sophisticates, including many sports and entertainment celebrities.

Located at the base of the Santa Monica Mountains, the neighborhood is split half by Sunset Boulevard. To get the iconic California experience put the top down on your convertible and drive down Brentwood’s San Vicente Boulevard. The boulevard features a landscaped median along its entire length which is planted with 120 large coral trees.

Residents of Brentwood like to stay active by visiting the city’s Farmers Market which features fruits and vegetables grown at local orchards and farms, playing golf at one of three picturesque Brentwood golf courses, or cherry picking at one of the area’s bountiful orchards.

For a delicious and healthy meal, try A Votre Sante on San Vincente. A Votre Sante was one of LA’s first health-focused eateries, serving light and natural fare since 1987. Head to Baltaire for a memorable steak dinner or to Sweet Rose Creamery for unique and delightful ice cream flavors.
